I don’t know about you, but I think that I will find many uses for the cast-on that Judy taught us. I think that my first project will be a small one – I need a pouch for a keychain mini-tool set. Thank you so much, Judy!

May Program:
The program this month will be a couple of new stitches that would be great on socks, a sweater, or even an afghan. You will want to knit up a couple of inches in the yarn of your choice with the size needles you like before the meeting. Make it a multiple of 8 stitches with maybe a couple of extra for an edge border.

Guild members - Sit and Knit will be at June’s new house in Davenport. Please see your newsletters for further details.
Fiber Art Show: The Fiber Arts show will be held on Friday, 9/28 and Saturday, 9/29/2007, at Butterworth Center. Everyone should be thinking about items to display at the show.
Fairs: The Rock Island County Fair will be 7/17– 7/21/07. The Mississippi Valley Fair will be 7/31-8/5/07. Heritage Days will be 8/3 and 8/4. Please see your newsletters for further details.
